Sharon Golden is a seasoned consultant with over 20 years experience assisting individuals and organizations with changes in corporate, healthcare and educational settings. As President and Managing Principal of Golden Performance Solutions, LLC, she partners with businesses to provide innovative solutions for leading, managing and working in rapid change. As both an internal and external consultant, Sharon's clients have included Fortune 100 and 500 companies. She has provided change management, executive coaching, strategic planning, quality improvement, communication, consultation, team building, conflict resolution, facilitation, and professional development in a variety of changing business environments. Her experience includes providing leadership for large corporate change initiatives related to lean business operations, corporate reorganization, quality improvement, implementing new business accounts, standardizing business processes, implementing information systems, human resource issues, wellness initiatives and training and development.
As an executive coach, Sharon has assisted hundreds of individuals in uncovering their potential, developing leadership and strategies for change, improving teamwork and workplace relationships, making successful career transitions and addressing a broad range of other issues to assist in reaching business objectives. As an educator and trainer, Sharon has directed the development and implementation of corporate training programs, taught as an undergraduate instructor in university settings and directed county-wide community education programs focused on creating healthy change.
Sharon received her Master of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University; Carbondale, Illinois and her Bachelor of Science Degree from Illinois State University; Normal, Illinois. She has completed over 3,000 hours of post-masters professional education on a variety of topics and is licensed as a mental health professional in the state of Missouri. Sharon blends training and experience in the areas of organizational development, psychology, business, mental health and wellness to facilitate solutions for healthy high-performance. Her insight, training and unique blend of expertise enable her to improve the management and development of people as well as business, operations, processes, quality, relationships and the bottom line.
John Golden is a licensed psychologist with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and over 20 years of experience as a change agent in corporate, healthcare, military and public health settings. He has provided coaching and training related to leadership, managing change, team building, quality improvement, stress prevention, conflict resolution, communication and relationships. John has conducted research in the area of stress and has been a presenter at the American Psychological Association National Conference and at the Texas Psychological Association State Conference.
John has served in leadership roles directing the delivery of mental health services for groups and individuals in corporate, military, healthcare and public health settings. He has first hand experience with corporate change and reorganization. John is recognized for his expertise in drawing out the wisdom and well being in others and for his ability to establish rapport and achieve positive outcomes with diverse and challenging audiences.
John received his Doctor of Philosophy and his Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Louisville; Louisville, Kentucky and his Bachelor of Art's Degree in Academic Psychology from The University of Tennessee. As a Captain in the United States Air Force, he received the Liberation of Kuwait Medal for providing mental health services to soldiers in an active war zone during Dessert Storm/Shield.
John is a commissioned officer with the U. S. Public Health Service and serves on the Surgeon General's Readiness Force during national emergencies that require mental health services. He currently serves as Senior Psychologist and Associate Chief of Mental Health for the Division of Immigration Health Services near South Padre Island, Texas. He also consults with immigration processing facilities in other areas of the country on issues related to operations, process improvement, quality, information systems and delivery of mental health services. John assists his wife, Sharon, in providing business consulting and professional development services through Golden Performance Solutions, LLC.
